On April 10, 2010, Master Recycler and ecovillage resident Rosalie Guard presented on recycling in the Portland area, with a focus on how to best do this at the ecovillage. She covered the philosophy of re-use, reduce, and recycle and discussed what items can be put in co-mingled and plastic film recycling, clearing up many common misconceptions. There are resources to recycle just about anything in the metro area and the Metro Recycling Hotline can answer most questions about recycling.
